What to expect

The shape of a forest morning with us

We meet you at a clearly marked carpark or transit stop, run a short pre-walk briefing covering pace, terrain, and weather, and then begin walking together at a deliberately measured tempo.

  • Walking surfaces are graded gentle, moderate, or steady — clearly stated up front
  • Sessions reschedule freely if weather conditions become unsafe
  • Phones go on silent for the walking portion (you can keep yours on you)
  • A reusable flask of water is provided and yours to keep
Common questions

Things people often ask

Do I need previous walking experience?

No. The Quiet Hour Walk is shaped specifically for first-time visitors and people who haven't walked a bush trail before. Your guide will set a pace the whole group is comfortable with.

What should I bring on the day?

Closed shoes with grip, a light layer in case of weather change, sunscreen in summer, and a small backpack if you'd like one. We supply your water flask and any printed materials.

Are children welcome on the sessions?

Children aged ten and over are welcome on the Quiet Hour Walk and Private Group Outing when accompanied by a participating adult. Please mention ages when you book.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain is part of the bush experience and we walk through it. For heavier weather we contact you the evening before to reschedule at no charge.

Ready to lock in a morning?

Tell us which session caught your eye and a couple of dates that could work — we'll come back within one working day.
