Tide-aware routes
Every walk plan checks the morning tide chart so the path is dry underfoot and the views are open.
Short, deliberately slow shoreline circuits along Auckland's east-coast bays and inner-harbour boardwalks. Built around the tide and a quieter way of looking.

Long views of the harbour give the eye somewhere to settle, which most people find restful within minutes.
Two short stops to watch shorebirds with a brief, plain-language note from your guide.
We meet at the marked start point — usually a ferry terminal or harbour-side carpark — and walk a circular route that finishes within sight of where we began. Pace stays measured. Stops stay short.
Two of our three coastal routes are sealed boardwalk end-to-end and suit prams and most assisted-mobility devices. Please let us know in advance and we'll match you to the right route.
Coastal walks usually begin between 7:00 and 8:30 am, when light is soft and foot traffic is minimal. We can arrange later starts for private bookings.
We don't, but we'll always tell you the day before if a light rain layer is worth bringing. Our guides carry a basic kit including a spare lightweight poncho or two.
Sorry — to keep groups predictable for everyone, we don't include pets on shared sessions. Private outings on dog-friendly stretches can be arranged on request.
Drop us a short message with the weekend you have in mind and any preferences — direction of the city, ferry vs car, group size — and we'll come back with options.
